Inspired by the shape of an artichoke, this striking vase is made entirely by hand from ceramic. The soft green colour and detailed design make this piece a charming addition to any interior, sure to attract attention. Made by skilled craftsmen with over 30 years of experience, each piece is hand-cast on the potter's wheel and finished with glaze.
The turning on the potter's wheel forms the basis, after which the detailed leaves are sculpted by hand. Creating such detailed elements takes 5-10 minutes per flower, and sculpting a complete vase takes 1 to 2 hours. An artisan can make 5-6 vases daily.
After sculpting, the vase undergoes a careful drying and glazing process in the oven, which contributes to the unique beauty and luxurious appearance of this handmade work of art.
