Deckstone is a synthetic type of stone, made from only inorganic raw materials, which gives it a very natural look. With a whole range of fine properties, of which stain resistance is perhaps the most pleasant. Deckstone is comparable to ceramic, the difference is mainly in the production process. The production of Deckstone imitates the process of natural stone formation. While natural stone, such as marble and granite, is formed over thousands of years, Deckstone only takes a few hours.

Minerals and stone particles, such as those found in porcelain or granite, are carefully selected. These particles are then exposed to extreme heat and pressure. When the process is complete, the particles are permanently bonded together, without the need for resins or binders. The Deckstone table tops are produced under much higher pressure than ceramic, which ensures extra compactness. And you don't have to worry about scratches or stains, they cannot penetrate the material. Even the most stubborn stains (such as wine, coffee, marker or rust) can be easily removed from the surface.

Deckstone is non-porous and does not contain resin, which means it can also withstand chemicals. The material is scratch-resistant and UV rays do not affect it, so there is no discolouration over time. It is also more wear-resistant than granite.
